We Are The Village – Teen Moms was created from lived experience, not theory. It was born from a moment where support was needed—but not fully given. From a space where young mothers were taught how to survive, but not always how to heal, grow, or truly understand themselves.

We exist to change that.

We Are The Village – Teen Moms is a community-rooted organization committed to ensuring that no teen mother walks her journey alone. We provide a safe, supportive, and structured environment where young mothers are not only cared for—but seen, heard, and guided into becoming conscious, confident parents.

Our work goes beyond basic support. We address the full experience of the teen mother—mentally, emotionally, physically, and practically. We ask the questions that are often overlooked: How are you holding up? What do you need to feel supported? Who are you becoming through this experience?

Because we believe that when a mother is supported, a family is strengthened. And when families are strengthened, communities change.

What We Do

We Are The Village – Teen Moms has evolved to meet the growing needs of our community with greater intention, focus, and collaboration. Our work is now centered around four core areas designed to create access, opportunity, and awareness for teen mothers and their families.

Village Resources

At the heart of our organization is Village Resources—a collaborative network of trusted organizations working together to provide Complete Client Care. We connect families to essential services through a unified referral system, ensuring that no one has to navigate life’s challenges alone. By strengthening partnerships and communication across organizations, we help close gaps in care and increase access to critical support.

Hire a Teen Mom Program

We are committed to creating real opportunities for teen mothers through our Hire a Teen Mom Program. This initiative provides hybrid, part-time work experiences that allow young mothers to gain professional skills, build confidence, and earn income—while being supported by an organization that understands their journey. This program is designed to break barriers to employment and create pathways toward long-term stability and independence.

Teen Mom Awareness

We actively work to shift the narrative around teen motherhood through Teen Mom Awareness. By sharing stories, creating spaces for dialogue, and engaging the community, we bring visibility to both the challenges and the strength of teen mothers. Our goal is to replace stigma with understanding, and judgment with informed support.

Collaborative Events

We believe impact happens in community. Through Collaborative Events, we partner with organizations, schools, and community leaders to host workshops, panels, baby showers, resource fairs, and educational experiences. These events are designed to connect families to resources, strengthen relationships across organizations, and create meaningful, supportive experiences for those we serve.

Each of these focus areas works together to create a system of support that is not only accessible—but intentional, connected, and built to last.
