Our Why
Every four hours, a teen parent welcomes a new baby into the world in Dallas County. In 2023 alone, there were 2,167 teen births, and 17% were repeat teen births. These numbers represent real young families navigating education, employment, housing, healthcare, and parenting—often without a connected support system. That's why we're building The Village: to ensure every teen parent has access to the resources, relationships, and opportunities they need to thrive.
